1) If I don’t take/miss my outbound flight can I use my return?

Should you not turn up for their outbound flight, this is classed as a no-show; your return/inbound seat will be automatically cancelled with full loss of money.

2) What happens if due to a flight delay I miss a connecting flight?

Neither Canadian Affair nor its airline partners Air Transat and Thomas Cook can accept responsibility for missed connections and will not refund any costs incurred for a missed flight. We advise that Canadian Affair Travel Insurance (which covers missed departures on connecting flights in the UK) be taken out. If you have taken insurance with another company please check with the issuer. Canadian Affair sell comprehensive travel insurance at great rates…please call one of our sales consultants for more details.

3) Can I purchase a one way ticket from the UK?

You can do so if you hold a valid Canadian passport or a work Visa. All other visitors will require a return ticket as Canadian customs may refuse entry.

4) Can I check my booking online?

Yes you can, just click on “Display your booking online” from our home page and enter your booking confirmation number… this will pull up all your flight details and any additional product bookings that you have made. If you subsequently want to add on any other products you can also do so at this stage and they will be added to your booking.

5) Do I need to reconfirm my flight times?

If you are travelling on a long stay ticket of more than one month we would advise that you re-confirm your flights 72 hours prior to your scheduled departure time, by calling either 0207-616-9184 / 0141-223-7517 or 1-604-678-6868 in Canada.
