NOTE: When comparing our Alamo rates against other car rental companies, it's important that you know exactly what is included in the pre paid price so that you can create an accurate comparison of the total costs involved for your rental period (see grid below). Most car rental companies on the web will offer a basic rate which does NOT include the VAT (Value Added Tax) of 17.5% which you will then have to pay on arrival in the UK. Our 'Exclusive' and 'Inclusive' rates both include the VAT in the pre paid price meaning fewer surprises for you when you collect your vehicle.

Extended Liability Waiver (ELW)
Can be purchased and paid for at time of collection in the UK. If purchased ELW will reduce the Waiver Excess to GBP 75 for Damage DLW and Theft TLW. Additionally customers purchasing ELW will be provided with referral to a no fault road traffic accident personal injury claim service specialising in pursuing claims against third parties, at no cost to our customer.
Extended Liability Waiver may not be purchased to waive the excess for any renter aged between 21 and 25 at certain locations.

NOTE: All bookings for the period 1st July 2009 to 31st August 2009 will incur an additional high season surcharge of $6 per day. This has been instructed by Alamo.
