At the airport

Our UK and Canadian Airport representatives will ensure your holiday gets off to the right start along with the excellent ground staff of Air Transat, Check in opens 4 hours for all flights and closes strictly one hour before the scheduled departure time.

Baggage allowances are

Economy: One piece of luggage weighing up to 23kg per paying passenger plus 10kg for hand luggage

Club Class: Two pieces of Luggage per paying passenger, with a combined weight of up to 40kg (the maximum weight of any bag is 32kg), plus 15kg for hand luggage.

These limits are closely adhered to and the airline partner will charge for excess baggage at check in.

Top Tip - If you feel that you may need more luggage allowance, upgrade to Club Class and you’ll receive an extra 17kg in hold luggage as well as all of the other extra benefits!

Flying with kids

Because travelling with young kids can be a bit of a handful, we’ll board your family first on the plane. We’ll provide a fun pack on the outbound flight. There’s family oriented on-board entertainment and the crew will be on hand to help at all times. If you pre book your seats you’ll be guaranteed to be sitting together.
